i didnt choose to nefile so does that mean its not filed yet

It is not filed yet because you will not be able to Netfile until February 24th, 2020. Open your return on that day to Netfile, if not you can print and mail it to the CRA. But I would advise that you wait until then to make sure all the details of your tax return will be updated before you print and mail or Netfile.
