I had Self-employed T4A(048) without expenses and my spouse does not have any self-employed income should I upgrade?

I had a Self-employed income(T4A (048-professional service)) without expenses, and my spouse does not have any self-employed income. Should I upgrade to self-employed?

Should we have two self-employeds or one deluxe and one self-employed?

If you have Self-Employment income, then you will need to use TurboTax Self-Employed, even if you have no expenses. 

If you prepare your return together with your spouse, then you will both will be using the same version of the program, and you will both be charged the same price. You can only prepare your returns in different products if you prepare your returns separately.
