I found a workaround for this and thought I'd post to save others who may run into the same problem.
I ended up restarting the program again, but before I started the import - I logged into my CRA account and DID NOT LOG OUT, I just closed the window.
I started the import in Turbotax and it recognized that I was still logged in when it opened up the CRA website to import the data. This allowed the import of my data to go through.
