Incident Report: TurboTax Standard 2024 - Line 50339 Is Incorrect When CPP Second Additional Contribution

When I enter T4-Box 26 (CPP/QPP pensionable earnings) as $73, 200, the amount propagated to line 50339 (Schedule 8 Part 3 - line 1) is shown as $68,500. The resulting calculation results in a CPP overpayment (line 44800) for an amount identical to T4-Box 16A (CPP second additional contribution).

At this time, some CRA forms are still being reviewed by them for the 2024 tax season, which could explain why some calculations are not done correctly or do not appear. As soon as they are ready, TurboTax will be updated.
