Is there a bug in the system? My program freezes when trying to optimize pension splitting. Can't get past this bug.

Yup. We did that and I spent an hour with a technician on the phone.
Conclusion is that there is a bug related to optimization of pension splitting.
I created a second return and had the same freeze.
i created a third return and turned pensioner splitting off and it worked.
But it was a lot of time to figure it out.

Clear my browser cache?   Ok, I'm knowledgable enough to understand this but, when I'm in the midst of filing my income taxes and I need to make a small adjustment, doing any of this just won't cross my mind.

I learned last year there was a bug and it's been confirmed now.   I can watch out but what about your other customers?

Sorry if I sound grumpy but we spent hours and hours on the phone with CRA and waited 10 months for the issue to be resolved and a refund received.

Is this happening when you are trying to REFILE your 2024 tax return?
