Moving Expenses

I have read posts regarding moving expenses but have a couple of specific questions.

  1. I moved for work in 2019 but didn't record it on my 2019 income tax hence not carrying forward. Can I still claim it?
  2. My wife moved for work in 2020 and it took us multiple trips to move our belongings. Can we claim the multiple trips or just the initial distance from the old place of work to the new one?

Thanks for your question. As for claiming your 2019, you will have to make an adjustment to your 2019 tax return for including the moving expenses. You can claim the cost for multiple trips to move your belongings.
