It’s a bug. I reported it over a week ago and I’m still waiting for a fix.

What is the timeline for a fix for this issue.  Also the program did not split the income on line 17600.

I see the latest version (update) now splits the income on line 17600 however the program does still not populate line 68140....

I'm guessing that you have capital losses rather than capital gains?

yes I have gains in 17600 but total over all losses.  The message i got said that line 68140 cant be less than line 17600?  maybe this is incorrect with net losses?

I think that's probably why. See some of my earlier posts from today and yesterday about how CRA's validation code for error 95365 is currently working. It seems to be ignoring values on line 17599, which could matter if you have overall losses.

@doughincks Schedule 3 line 17600 is for period 2. Do you have amounts on box 52 or 53 on your T3s? or both?

Line 68140 of T936 is total of box 21 of all T3s, and it should be equal to 17600 and/or 17599.

Please verify the information on your T3s, because we tested different situations and it should be fixed.

Let us know if it's reporting properly.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Hi, no it still isn't reporting properly according to the CRA. Error #95365.

I have 0.00 in line 17599 and 201.14 in line 17600, and 0.00 on line 68140.  The 201.14 is from Box 53 and Box 21 on a T3 Slip.

I wonder if the issue is that I have negative numbers in line 13 of schedule 3.

on line 13 of schedule 3 I have -1523.56 for period 1 and - 211.67 for period 2.  The negative numbers are from a T5008.

Can you test that scenario please.

Thank you..

On your Schedule 3 line 13, if you have a negative amount and then, on line19900 - total taxable capital gin (or net capital loss for 2024 is negative, you won't have anything on T936 on line 68140, because your loss took over.

I believe that the issue is actually with the CRA, the message I got from the CRA was that they are having a few issues and to wait until April 14 to retry.  I think the CRA validation in the problem....I'm in the same boat...

Good luck...
