My husband and I own a cottage and rent it for short term rentals. We collect HST. Do we include the HST collected as part of the "Gross Rents"? Thank you

We are registered to collect GST and have formed a partnership which owns the cottage.

If you have remitted the HST to Canada Revenue then you should exclude it from your income and exclude the HST input tax credits from your expenses.
