If you're claiming any dependant credits for your son, you'll need to enter his income amount from line 236 of his completed return. You could always enter a rough estimate to get past the step and keep working on your return but you'll need to update the amount you've entered before you file.
If you're not claiming any dependant credits, you can remove your son from your return altogether.
