My wife is self employed but earns less than the personal tax credit. Why is Turbo Tax calculating that she owes taxes
Your wife is likely not owing "taxes", but having to make Canada Pension Plan contributions. CRA requires that all self-employed taxpayers contribute to CPP on their Net Income from self-employment that is over $3,500.
