Need Help

Where can I get help.? I received a letter from CRA they were going to revised my wife's and my 2023 returns

Not an audit but a revision. Later We received another letter saying that there were errors on the return. I would have to pay over $ 600 and my wife over 1200 .I checked their reassessment and I believe they have errors too. I really don't know how to fight these people. I tried to find either a telephone number or email address for

Turbo Tax in Canada but did not find any. My wife wants to go to an accountant but I told her that Turbo Tax

has support.

Did you sign up for Audit Defence for your 2023 returns? If so, instructions for contacting Audit Defence for assistance are located in your purchase email. The email should also contain your membership certificate and authorization number, which you will need for reference.

 

If you used TurboTax Online to file your taxes, you can reach Audit Defence by logging into TurboTax Online. Then, click Audit Defence.

Hi Susan,Thank you for your help I appreciate it.  I had seen it in the CRA account but I am taking some medication and sometimes I have to touch my head to make sure it is there Thanks again 8soprano

Unfortunately, without Audit Defense, TurboTax wouldn't be able to help directly with your fight against the CRA. But If you have specific questions about possible errors on your tax return, please contact our phone support team at 1-888-829-8608, as they can look at your return with you. 

 

During tax season (from CRA NETFILE opening (mid-February) to the regular filing deadline (April 30), we're available 7 days a week during these hours:

  • 9 AM to midnight ET for English support
  • 9 AM to 9 PM ET for French support

During the rest of the year (May 1 to mid-February), we're available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET for English and French support.
