Nettle error 84 - #95365

trying to file and getting strange error related it appears to capital gains so I can't tell if this is software error or entry error

detailed message is below - any ideas?

CRA Result Code: 84

Apparently a known issue with Turbotax (per TurboTaxAniqua moderator) - they're working on a fix.

WORKAROUND THAT WORKED:  I entered 1/2 of all T3 values for both myself and spouse, with 100 ownership for each at the top.  (I also only put an entry, for the summed (half) values of 52 and 53 into box 53. ) This produced agreement in values for lines 68140 on form T936 and on Schedule 3, which were both correct, and allowed me to netfile both returns.

@dlank1 Glad to hear that. Thanks for the update.

My situation is that my spouse gets 100% of t3 amounts - turbo tax made me fill in fields that were not filled in on the t3 - but I’m uncomfortable actually changing entered amounts to something not matching the actual t3 I received

@TurboTaxAniqua
When will this fix be available? I'm not able to submit my tax return. I'm filing for myself only. Please fix it.

At this point there is no more patience to appreciate - after weeks, either give us an ETA for the fix or start offering refunds!

@TurboTaxAniqua
TurboTax is preventing me from filing my taxes when I need it, and this is completely unacceptable. People rely on tax software to file as soon as they need to, and delays like this defeat the entire purpose of using TurboTax. If this issue isn’t fixed within 24 hours, I expect a full refund, as I’ll be forced to find alternative software. This needs to be resolved immediately.

Any idea when we can expect this issue to be resolved? Do I need to pay to do my taxes elsewhere as it is April already. Adds so much stress to a stressful time.
