Non refundable tax credit for medical message in Review mode

While doing the Review, Turbotax says that my medical expense credit exceeds income tax payable and that I should consider deleting from this year and claiming next year.  Before entering medical expenses, I was getting a Federal and QC refund.  After I entered my medical expenses, I was getting a larger tax refund from both.  Message seems incorrect.

Not sure if this is related to scholarships and RESP income I had this year, which had no tax deducted on it.

Based on what system reports, I want to claim the medical expenses.

You can claim medical expenses for any 12-month period ending in the taxation year—but, in order for you to make a claim, your total eligible medical expenses must equal more than the lesser of 3% of your net income OR $2,759.  You have the ability to carry forward some unclaimed expenses to the next year.
