The CRA has announced systems tax calculator errors that may affect your ability to file. These errors are affecting all CRA certified tax software across Canada.

TurboTax is in direct contact with senior Government of Canada officials at CRA, underscoring the urgent need for accountability and decisive action to resolve these issues for our customers and all Canadians. If you see one of these error codes, please visit What does my NETFILE error code mean and how do I fix it? .

@islandwomen-shaw

This is the most current version of TurboTax Desktop:

If you don't see this version, then you can redownload and reinstall the software to force it to update

You can download the current version of TurboTax Desktop 2024 edition here: Choose the current TurboTax Desktop edition you need (for Windows).

Newest update does not allow me to Netfile  and is not a complete update as it still says program needs to be updated prior to filing.  I have uposdated numerous times to no avail.

What is the exact message that you are seeing? If it's about forms that are locked or not finalized, then you can see a list of Forms that still locked here: Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized?

My Netfile attempt was rejected by the CRA. My Turbotax files appear to transfer to the CRA, but it comes back with Error Code #95365 and the message: "There is an entry on the Form T936 and/or on the Schedule 3 and one of the following situations applies to your return. Please verify your entries and make ny necessary corrections.

(1) You reported a capital gain from T3 slip on line 17600 of Schedule 3. An entry is also required on line 68140 in Chart A of Form T936. Line 68140 cannot be less than line 17600.

(2) There is an entry on line 68140. You also have to report a capital gain (or loss) on line 17600. If the total of your capital gains (or losses) from all your T3 slips is zero, yyour software should genrage and entry of "1" on line 17600.

(3) There is an entry on line 68140. You must also have an entry on line 68150. If line 68140 minus line 12 in Chart A is zero, your software should genreage and entry of "1" on line 68150.

(4) There is an entry on line 68150. An entry is also required on line 68140. Line 68140 cannot be less than line 68150.

NONE OF THESE MESSAGES WERE GENERATED BY TURBOTAX THROUGH THE REVIEW PROCESS!
