ONCARE

I was filling in the tax forms for my spouse and I and inputting eligible childcare expenses in the new ONCARE form.  Turbo Tax did not automatically include my spouse as a supporting person when inputting, therefore my tax rebate was very large, as family income was limited to me.  I called CRA and the person that I spoke to was federal and he didn't really know how it worked.  So basically my question is who is wrong, Turbo Tax or me?  Should family income include my spouse's income as a supporting person?

TurboTax asked who the supporting person is- you can choose either one of you or both. It is very possible that you clicked on your name and therefore the funds went to you.
