I sold commercial property (IRC Section 1250). When entering the sale of the land and building - TurboTax said not to report Land and Building on same Asset Entry Worksheet as sale has to flow through Form 4797. I used Real Rroperty, and I get an error message that property type must be 1245 (personal property), trade or buisiness asset.
Has anyone had this situation, and if so, how did you correct, so no error? Thank you.
