How do I access past tax returns before 2017 (i.e. 2015, 2016)?

To access your prior year's returns on TurboTax Online: 

1. Sign in to TurboTax Online

2. Scroll to Access your filed tax returns and select Open

3. This is where you’ll find the PDF copies of your filed returns.

Please Note: If you used more than one account in TurboTax online, when you filed prior returns: If so, the returns you are looking for maybe in another account.

To see all your user ids:

1. Go to the TurboTax Online sign-in page and select the I forgot my user ID or password link.
2. Enter your email address and select  Continue.
3. A list appears with the user IDs associated with the email address you entered.

I tried that approach, but I was not able to get years before 2018. Please advise

If you need a return from before 2018,  you can get the information from these returns from the CRA. You can log into the CRA’s My Account service on their website: My Account for Individuals or  you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281.
