I was adviced by a Turbotax expert over the phone to process a refund for a product and to purchase a different product instead to complete my tax filing. After following the instructions online, the refund site continiously gave an error saying my product ID (the online order confirmation) could not be found. I sent an email explaining what happened, this was about a month ago and I have not heard anything back about processing the refund. To clarify, it was an online product and I did not complete my taxes with that product. I ended up purchasing a different one to properly file them. Phone calls are not working, I get directed to an automated voice message.
Could someone instruct me on next steps or a different email / contact I can reach out to to process the reimbursement ?
