Can't complete tax return without ex partner's tax return info

My ex and I separated in 2021. I am trying to do my tax return but it needs me ex's tax return info in order for me to move on. This wouldn't be an issue, but when he goes to do his tax return, it asks for my tax return info - but I can't do my tax return until I have his info and vice versa. How do we move on from this?

Sometimes it happens that one partner has not yet started their taxes and/or is unable/unwilling to disclose their Net Income, then you will need to estimate spousal Net Income. You can check your old tax returns to find the SIN numbers of your returns.
