Hi.
I got the below message that's preventing me from filing my taxes. I tried to fix it, but I guess I don't know how to do it. Where did I select to transfer income to the form for working from home due to COVID-19? Any advice? Thank you.
You've completed employment expenses for working at home but selected to transfer income to the form for working from home due to COVID-19. To claim the employment expenses you entered, you'll need to go to your T4 slip and select 'no' to the question about claiming expenses for working from home due to COVID-19.
This would be on the bottom of the t4 slip page.
How to edit to the T4 Slip in TurboTax Online:
1. In the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find (magnifying glass 🔍) *.
2. In the Find window, type in “T4” and select “T4 Employment Income”. Click the “Go” button.
3. Click "Edit" next to the slip you want to change.
I keep getting the same error message which is preventing me from flling.
