If my spouse hasn't done their taxes yet for 2021, do I leave that section blank?

usually if your doing it in turbo tax you have a option to make your own tax or make the tax together with spouse

this is for option of making your own tax.

you can leave it blank or 0 temporary so you can proceed to other tax steps.

you cannot pass your income tax without the info tax of your spouse

for spouse tax info you only need to know the total income of the year. manually calculate it
