switching from turbotax online to desktop

I have always used the Turbotax desktop and this year I filed online but printed the finished taxes and mailed them. How do I make sure my 2024 taxes can be found for 2025 taxes?

Thank you for your response. I have submitted a refund request but have not yet received any confirmation. Could you please provide an update on the status? Will I be receiving a cheque, or is there another process I should be aware of?

I would appreciate any details regarding the next steps.

@Klewin To import your 2024 tax information into the 2025 tax year the following year, you will need to use the same login name and password (credentials).

I'm in the same boat.

For everyone that purchases TurboTax at Costco, the retail packaging looks almost identical and it is easy to miss which version you purchased.  In my case, my local costco has been selling online versions for the past two tax seasons, but for this season they have been selling the desktop version.

Very misleading and extremely frustrating.

@1J19z Thank you for the feedback. If you have purchased the wrong product, you can submit an online Refund Request and purchase the correct version directly from TurboTax Canada
