When you have a car allowance and you are entering in the amount of fuel you are claiming under the “HST” cell, do you claim the whole amount you spent or just the HST?
You would put the full amount paid in the HST column, not just the sales tax.
Please note if your employer gave you a car allowance then you can only claim amounts that the allowance didn't cover.
