Showing $0 for a return regardless of credits?

This is my first year ever filing as having zero income so I'm looking for some help!

I was in an auto accident in 2020 and have been on LTD ever since.  That LTD is non-taxable and provided through my extended benefits package I had with my employer at the time of my accident.  I knew I wouldn't owe anything, but I also wouldn't get anything back lol.

I'm confused though because I did submit for the Zone B Northern Living credits along with the vacation section with it, yet after completing the whole return, it's still saying that I am receiving $0 back.

Does this seem right?

Thank you for any input!

Yes, this is right. Please see our TurboTax articles   Tax Tip: Benefits of filing a return even if you have no income to report and Credits and Deductions: How Do They Work?

You may want to look follow the steps in the menu on the image below to see if you are getting money throughout the year.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
