Spouse's Income Field on T1 General and INFOWS

When I click on the field to enter net income for the spouse on T! General, it takes me to INFOWS form and there are a bunch of question but also the field where you are supposed to enter the figure..  But it is a green filed and you double click on it and it takes me back to T1 General ..  So it is swapping me back on forth and not letting me enter the actual figure..

It sounds like you are preparing your return together with your spouse. You won't be able to enter their Net Income directly on the INFOWS form. Instead you'll need to enter her slips and other tax information so that TurboTax can calculate her Net Income for you.

If you would rather prepare your returns separately, you would need to start your return over, and choose not to prepare it at the same time as your wife. When you are preparing your return by itself, you'll be able to enter your spouse's income info directly on the INFOWS page.

Thanks.. I have decided to start new and created a separate return for myself and my wife..   The problem I am now running into is I can enter my wife's net income and other info like name, sin # etc. on my return but for some strange reason, my wife's INFOWS sheet only accepts my netcome information and it gets to the T1 general but it is not allowing me to enter my name, sin # etc. on my wife's INFOWS sheet..

Both my INFOWS and my wife's are otherwise identical so I am at a loss as to why it is not allowing me to enter the information ..

Help !!

I have solved my problem.. Looks like even though some fields in INFOWS are already ticked, you need to check some of them again ..

Any case, it is fine now..

Thanks for you response..
