T3 Foreign non business income and taxes paid

The source of the T3 advises all amounts reported are in CAD. Yet they show  Foreign non business income in Box 25 and  Foreign non business taxes in Box 34. When competing T3 input TurboTax insists I indicate a country. Be it the USA, Country 1 or Country 2. It is actually non of them as the amount shown is in CAD. Can anyone help me figure out how this can be properly reported?

If you are reporting foreign income, even if the amount is in CAD, you still have to enter what country the amount is from. If the income is not from the USA, you can pick Country 2. You can go into Forms mode and enter the name of the country on the Foreign Tax Credit Worksheet. If the income is from more than one country, you can name it "Global".
