T3/T5 spousal percentage does not change the totals on right side of the Federal Slip window

Altering the spousal percentage to allocate per person does seem to change the amount assigned to each spouse from a tax calculation perspective. However the totals on the right side of the screen do not get updated properly. They show 100% allocation to the spouse the data was entered for and don't change if the spousal percentage changes. Additionally the values do not show up at all on the spouse's tax listing of forms.

Examples:

I have a single T3 with box 26 = $684 and I assign 50% to my spouse, on screen I will see $684 on my T3 window for column#1 as well as $684 for the Total of all T3's. On my spouse's T3 list there will be no T3 shown. However the Refund/Balance for both myself and my spouse change by whatever the impact is for an extra $342 of T3 for each of us.

Changing the percentage from 50% to 75% does not change any dollar value listed in column#1 nor in the Federal Slip Total at the right of the window. The Refund/Balance however does change.

The same type issue occurs for T5 entries.

It is not clear to me if the above is being done on purpose so that the column entries match the T-slips received but I expected the Slip Totals to reflect the amounts actually allocated per spouse.

The totals on the side are just the simple sum of all the amounts in that box number. This has been the case since at least 2018 (and probably earlier).

Just because it has been that way for years doesn't mean it is correct.

Why would someone want to know the totals of the line items if they are splitting the line items with their spouse ?

ie. if someone has multiple T3"s with a total of 20K but they income split with their spouse 75/25 then they likely only want to see 15K showing as their total and not 20K. The other issue is that the 5K being shared with their spouse doesn't show up in the spouse's total screen even though it is added to the spouse's tax calcs.

This sounds like 2 separate bugs.

BUG1: Income splitting doesn't calculate the line item total correct for the donating spouse

BUG2: The income that is being donated doesn't show up on the total for the receiving spouse
