Line 30300 is for the spouse/common law amount, having a child doesn't affect this credit.
On the Schedule 5 calculations for Line 30300, line 2 will only have an amount if you are claiming the Canada Caregiver Amount for your spouse/partner. Line 5 is the amount of credit you are getting. If it is zero, either your spouse/partner's income is too high (see the amount in line 4), or you answered No when asked if you want to claim the credit (line 4 will be 0).
This is my first time using this software, thank you for your help. In my case, neither my husband nor I exceed the threshold, and my husband does not have a high income. I want to know "No when asked if you want to claim the credit" where can I choose or change my choice???
Thank you
Are you using TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online?

don't need this form, it's completely empty. But every time I print my return, it's there. Even when I go to form view, find this form (which is completely empty) and click Close unused forms, it's still being printed.
Does it have anything to do with entering date which I left Canada?
