Intuit management: You are losing sales via your contract with amazon.ca
I tried purchasing your TurboTax Standard download today.
The sale went through to my credit card, and I got a confirming email with the activation code, stating the product was ready to download.
But instead of giving me a simple "download" button to click, they said I had to go to some mysterious "game and software library" to do the download.
I have no such thing, so at the moment, I'm out $43 bucks!
I went on to their chat, and was told the order I had already paid for had not been processed, and furthermore, if I wanted to know where the "games and software library" with the download button is, I had to call in to their long-wait telephone queue, and talk with their "support team."
If you read the reviews on the amazon.ca site, you'll find out I'm not the only one shafted by this tweak-the-customer maze!
Please get this fixed!
