Tuition Tax Credit - AB - Picks up federal amount when should be Nil

My son lived in Nova Scotia at December 31, 2021 and had federal tuition tax credits carried forward. He now lives in Alberta and the program is picking up the federal tuition tax credit carried forward and applying it to AB. He is not eligible to claim a tuition tax credit in AB because he resided in a difference province in 2021 (and paid tuition in a different province). How can I override this?  (The program indicates 0 carryforward for provincial purposes - I even tried changing it to $1 but it still picks up the federal amount and calculates a tax credit).
