Tuition Transfer Glitch?

I do not want to do any tuition transfers. When I try to file, I'm asked to upgrade because my return includes a tuition transfer. My common-law partner is claiming her tuition but we are not transferring anything. Both federal and provincial amounts say zero. Why is it saying we have to upgrade to file because of Tuition Transfers when we don't have any?

the thing is you may have check a box or a sub box.

usually turbo tax doesnt cancel any check box even you uncheck the main box

 

sample is when turbo tax ask DID YOU WORK? and you select YES

there will appear a lot of choices you click t4 and other

then after a while you selected NO on the question DID YOU WORK?

even you select NO the t4 box and other is still check. turbo tax dont auto uncheck it

 

solution: you have to check thoroughly this areas or the part where you declare about your tuition

if nothing work start all over

I am aware of this. I've already tried redoing everything being very careful not to click anything that doesn't apply to me.

Just tried a again without using any auto fill for anything. Same problem.
