Turbotax 2011-2016: will it work on new computer with Windows11

Before I buy a new computer with Windows11 I’d like to know if I’ll still be able to run Turbotax from previous years on it. Do I need to make sure ensure it’s configured in some way?

I have Turbotax CDs going back to 2011.

Any TurboTax software before 2022 will not work on Windows 11.  

There is a way you can try to do this which has worked for others-  You would need to download "The Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) - 14.29.30135" package and install it.

I believe this could be found on the Microsoft site.
