I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't help. The problem seems to occur when it starts up and before the check for updates runs. If the check for updates runs the error doesn't occur. If I just 'X' the message which says the .TT18 file can be recovered the error does not occur again. Each time I shut down TurboTax and restart it the error occurs before the update check runs. I am using a satellite connection. I did have a .TT18 file corrupted by chosing to recover the file when I didn't realize there was no issue with the files.
I have had the same issue as well. Do we choose to fix the file or not when opening? Help?
Please try uninstalling & reinstalling the program. It will not delete any of you saved returns.
