Turbotax Deluxe Online Edition - Why do I need to pay $42 for me and my spouse returns?

I purchased the Turbotax Deluxe Online Edition thinking it was the same as the Standard version. When I started a return and selected "My spouse/partner and me" it says I will need to pay $42 to complete the return. Last year I didn't need to pay anything extra to file my spouse and I return. What changed? Should I have purchased the Standard edition?

In order to avoid paying at the end, you do not need to activate the code and link it to your account if you have already purchased TurboTax Deluxe Online Edition.

 

To activate your TurboTax Online version, please visit this link. Select that "I have an account," log into your account, and proceed to the second step by adding your 16-digit activation code to review and activate the TurboTax Online product.
