TurboTax Premier 2025 correctly splits my foreign pension income between me and my husband, but it does not split the foreign tax paid. All the tax is assigned to my return, and my husband’s T2209 is blank.
This worked correctly in TurboTax Standard 2024 but unfortunately I upgraded to TurboTax Premier for 2025 taxes. There is no work around in the 2025 software as splitting both my RRIF and the foreign pension income, therefore, I would like a refund for the Premier upgrade and to revert to the Standard 2025 desktop edition that I originally purchased.
In order to better assist you, we will need more details. But first make sure there was no major change in your tax situation that could explain why it's not working this year.
