Turbotax says I have no deductions eligible to transfer to another province

I work in ON and reside in Qc. I can transfer up to 45% of the federal deductions made to Qc however Torbotax says there are no eligible deductionsé Why? How do I calculate the appropriate amount to transfer?

Hi,

Review where you entered your T4 from Ontario and be sure that you did not enter amounts in the Relevé 1 screen.

Thank you!

Well there ARE amounts on the Relevé 1 slip.

There are taxable benefits (private insurance) in the total income box AND in box J for private insurance (same number) and there is the Qc income tax deducted. Even though the revenue happens in ON there is Qc tax deducted or else there would be provisional accounts ... those blow.

I should STILL be allowed to transfer any amount up to 45% of the total taxable income to Qc to make a zero balance but the software prevents it.

It's too late now but maybe that should be corrected next year. I didn't have to struggle like this in previous years with the exact same situation.
