TurboTax will not overwrite a PDF file that is open, but the user is not advised that the PDF has not been saved. Can a warning be implemented in the software?

When I save a return to PDF using an existing file name, I am prompted to confirm that it's OK to overwrite (normal Windows procedure).  If that existing file is already open in Acrobat, the new PDF does not get saved (again, normal Windows procedure).  However TurboTax does not notify me there was a problem.  As a result, I think I've saved a new version of the PDF when in fact I haven't.
