If you have a T2202, you can enter it on your return to get the tuition credit, which can reduce or eliminate your taxes owing. If you can't use the credit on your return, you may be able to transfer all or part to your spouse/common-law partner, to their parent or grandparent, or to your parent or grandparent. Any unused credit will carry forward to future years.
To claim your tuition for 2024:
If you are using TurboTax Online, you can search for tuition on the Tax Home page.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop in EasyStep mode, you can use the Find tool to search for T2202.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop in Forms mode, you can search for T2202 and Schedule 11 (and provincial S11, if applicable) by clicking on the Forms icon in the blue icon bar.
