Why am I being billed again for the TurboTax Assist and Review Deluxe when during the input process, it told me it was free?

You can start for Free, but the Assist & Review service itself is not Free.

 

 

 

 

It gave my daughter, Sloane, the option for free, as she is under 25 years old. It’s a very shady way of doing business. I don’t think I’ll be using turbo tax next year 

If your daughter is 25 years old or younger, she will pay $20 for her return when using TurboTax A & R.  Depending on what your daughter is claiming will depend on if she could file for free or for $20.
