Why can I not enter transit passes after June 2017?

The federal transit pass credit was eliminated July 1, so you can’t claim any amounts pertaining to after June 30, 2017. If you bought a pass for the year or another period that crosses over the cutoff point, you can prorate the amount. Ex: If you buy an annual pass for $1200, you can claim $600.

Canada revenue agency said I can claim bus fair monthly passes.
