Why is Line 14400 added on to Line 14700, making the income doubled again?

Line 14700  of your return is the total of:

Line 14400 – Workers' compensation benefits
Line 14500 – Social assistance payments
Line 14600 – Net federal supplements paid

 

 

Line 14700 is used to calculate Line 25000 – Other payments Deduction.
