Why wont it take my phone number

Where you get the warning click on FIX or change from Easy Step to Forms (top of page)..this will take you to the area where you can manually change it on the actual forms. Fill in the missing info or correct info and remember to Save (Ctrl S) . Return to Easy Step at top of page, and continue through the screens, the issue should clear.

There seems to be an issue using Easy Step and what actually is being entered to the forms. Suggest any issue with dollar amounts and or personal info being wrong, flip over to FORMS at top of page make the change on the Forms screen hit save (Ctrl S) then return to Easy Step (top of screen)

We are sorry you are having a problem entering your telephone number. If you have a Canadian or US phone number, make sure you are only typing it in using numbers - no special characters or spaces. There should be a total of 10 numbers. Ex: 1234567890

 

If needed, select and delete everything in each box before retyping, just in case there is a hidden space causing the problem. You can also leave the phone number space blank, as it is not a mandatory field.

 

NOTE: TurboTax won’t allow you to input anything other than a Canadian or US phone number. If you have a phone number from another country, just don’t include it. The CRA will contact you by mail.

 

If additional help is needed, we believe your best option is to contact our telephone support team for further assistance, as they have the option to view your screen to help resolve the issue. To contact us please follow this link: Contact Us form. Once you go through the steps and complete the form, the phone number to speak to a TurboTax agent will appear on the page.
