Why is my taxable capital gains 17000.00 higher than 2017. Nothing has drastically changed.

Without seeing your entire tax return, we can't see why your Capital Gains would be so much higher from this forum. Check if any of the following apply to you and you may be able to determine where the increase is coming from.

• You have used AutoFill to import T5008 slips and not entered any amounts in Box 20 to reduce the total gain on the slip.
• You have entered or used AutoFill to import T-slips which have Capital Gains. 
• You have manually entered Dispositions in your Capital Gains Profile, and mistakenly transposed the Cost and Disposition figures.
