A partnership can have 2 types of partners - general partners and limited partners. General partners are active in running the business that partnership engages in. Limited partners only invest in the partnership. If the partnership loses money, then the limited partners will have a limited partnership loss to report on their tax return.
You may be involved in a limited partnership because of something you invested in. If you have a T5013 slip, that's a Statement of Partnership Income, and may show limited partnership losses.

Annual would be the easiest to use, but you can use the one of the other rates if it is more favorable to you. Ex: If you have interest from a US dollar bank account, you might want to use the daily rate for the actual day you received the interest, if that results in a smaller number.

When you started the return, did you choose to prepare only his return? Because if you have chosen to prepare the return for "My spouse/partner and me" then it will ask you all the questions for both of you.
To change this, you would need to start a new return, and select either "Myself" or "Someone Else" when asked who you are preparing the return for.
To start a new return, select “Start a New Return” from under “My Returns” in the top left corner. Once you have started your new return, you can select “View All Returns” from under “My Accounts & Returns”. Then delete the unwanted return by clicking the small Trash Can next to it or “Delete” under the return’s name.

TurboTax doesn't do currency conversions. So instead of a Box 27, you would enter the country in the box labeled "Source country of foreign income" at the bottom, but then then you would enter your amounts in Canadian dollars. You can get the exchange rate from this Bank Of Canada webpage: Exchange Rates
