Is the online download standard edition (17.99) the same software download as buying the standard software cd (39.99), or are they different?

Hello,

They are different. The CD/Download version has the ability to enter your information using the Forms method or EasyStep Interview. TurboTax Online only has the EasyStep Interview.

If you have a Mac, you need to use TurboTax Online.
