How do I import GIFI information from QuickBooks into TurboTax Business Incorporated?

To import GIFI information from QuickBooks into TurboTax Business Incorporated:

1. Open QuickBooks and open the company file with the GIFI data you'd like to copy to TurboTax.
2. Open TurboTax and open the return you want to receive the GIFI data.
   • Keep both programs open during this process.
3. In TurboTax, select File, then Import from QuickBooks.
4. In the Balance Sheet Import window, enter the fiscal year start and end dates, then Continue.
5. Review the amounts being imported from QuickBooks to TurboTax Business, and select Import.
6. TurboTax will import your QuickBooks info Schedules 100 and 125.

If you change your company file in QuickBooks after importing it, the changes won't automatically transfer to TurboTax. To update the information, you'll need to import it again. Just keep in mind that any previous GIFI data will be erased.
