This FAQ applies to the TurboTax Business Incorporated edition.

EasyStep method

  1. Select Check at the end of the Prepare stage of the interview.
  2. Clear any outstanding errors or warnings within your return.
    • Complete the missing or incorrect information or select Sign-off to remove the message if it doesn't apply to your situation.

      Note: Signing-off errors that pertain to your tax situation can lead to a return with errors, causing processing delays or a rejection of the return by the CRA.

Forms method

  1. Select Auditor on the toolbar to display the Auditor.
  2. Clear any outstanding errors or warnings in your return.
    • Double-click any warning or error in the Auditor to jump to the field that contains the error or warning.
    • Complete the missing or incorrect information, or right-click the error in the Auditor and select Sign-off to remove the message if it doesn't apply to your situation.

      Note: Signing-off errors that pertain to your tax situation can lead to a return with errors, causing processing delays or a rejection of the return by the CRA.
