What should I do if I’m getting a TurboTax activation error?

Note: This FAQ applies to the TurboTax CD/download edition.

 

If you get a warning that you exceeded your activation limit—or receive a similar message—and think this is a mistake, contact our care team (click here: link). A TurboTax specialist will help you activate or reactivate your account.

Please have your installation key (click here: link) ready.

 

Note: You can install and activate the same copy of TurboTax on a maximum of three different computers using the same installation key.
