How do I claim moving expenses in TurboTax?

Note for couples: The CRA allows couples to split moving expenses (click here: link). If you split expenses between you and your spouse, only claim the portion of the expenses that your partner isn’t claiming. In most cases, it’s beneficial to have the higher-earning spouse claim all moving expenses.

Note: If your moving expenses total more than the income you earn at your new location, TurboTax will carry the leftover amount forward so that you can claim it in a future tax year. You can see this amount in the Review section of TurboTax.
