Can I claim mileage for doctor's and dentist's appointments?

If your doctor and dentist are more than 40 km away from your residence (one way), you can claim the expense. Otherwise, no.

Since you have the installed version, you can click on the forms icon at the top menu bar and then type "medical" in the search.  You will get the option of the working paper and the schedule.  Look for the section on mileage on the schedule.  You can only claim medical deductions that are more than 3% of your net income, so check for other medical, dental, glasses etc, or you may not have enough to claim.  You can combine 2013 and 2014 provided the period is within 12 months ending in 2014.  The mileage amount will be different depending on province.  This information will help you.  Scroll down to the bottom for mileage rates:
